Old Rock Barn
Our Mission
Built in 1790, The Old Rock Barn is a stunning example of early Kentucky craftsmanship—its weathered stone walls and southern charm create a one-of-a-kind setting for personalized gatherings. Today, this historic space is more than just a venue—it’s the heart of the Kentucky River Field School, a hands-on internship program for motivated young adult learners.

Through this program, interns work as a team to plan and host meaningful farm-to-table events at the barn, gaining experience in gardening, cooking, entrepreneurship, and community engagement. Each event reflects our mission to cultivate growth—both personal and educational—through the collaborative work of Growing, Hosting, and Creating.

Whether you’re attending a seasonal supper, community workshop, or creative showcase, every event at The Old Rock Barn is powered by purpose, passion, and a deep respect for the space.
